Both are free. Zoho Invoice is the stronger GST tool: HSN/SAC, the tax breakdown, e-invoicing through the IRP and GSTR-1 filing, on the web and phone, capped at 500 invoices a year. EstimateBill has no cap, needs no account and works with no internet, but its current version prints GST as one line without the CGST/SGST split. If your buyers are GST-registered businesses, Zoho is the better fit today.

Where Zoho Invoice is the better choice
- GST compliance. Zoho applies the tax breakdown from the customer's GSTIN, prints HSN/SAC, generates e-invoices through the IRP and files GSTR-1. EstimateBill does none of the last three today.
- Getting paid online. Zoho connects UPI, cards and net banking through payment gateways; EstimateBill records payments but does not collect them.
- Working from a computer. Zoho Invoice is a web app first, with phone apps; EstimateBill is phone-only.
- Two people on one account, with roles, even on the free plan.
- Automatic backup. Your data is in Zoho's cloud; EstimateBill relies on you exporting a backup file.
Where EstimateBill is the better choice
- No account and no internet. Zoho does not publish offline support and its apps sign in to a Zoho account. EstimateBill works in airplane mode from the first launch.
- No annual cap. Zoho's free plan stops at 500 invoices a year; EstimateBill has no limit.
- Nothing to lose by going quiet. Zoho deletes data from accounts inactive for more than 180 days (after a notice). EstimateBill keeps everything on your phone for as long as you keep it.
- Speed on site. Quote, send on WhatsApp and convert to an invoice from a phone, with no dashboard to learn.
Which one should you use?
Pick Zoho Invoice if you bill GST-registered businesses, need e-invoicing, want online payments or work at a desk. Pick EstimateBill if you work on sites and in homes, bill individuals more than companies, and want the invoice done on the phone with nothing uploaded.

Does Zoho Invoice work offline?
Zoho does not claim offline support on its pricing, features or mobile-apps pages. EstimateBill works entirely offline.
Which one should a GST-registered business use?
If you sell to other GST-registered businesses, Zoho Invoice: it prints HSN/SAC and the CGST/SGST or IGST breakdown and handles e-invoicing. EstimateBill's current version shows GST as a single line. Our free GST invoice Excel format does the split if you need it without software.
