EstimateBill is a free phone app for quotes and invoices that keeps everything on the device with no account. If you hold stock or have staff billing, Vyapar does more. If you send quotes and invoices yourself and want nothing on a server, EstimateBill is simpler and free.

Where Vyapar is the better choice
- You hold stock. Vyapar tracks inventory with low-stock alerts; EstimateBill has no stock at all.
- Someone else bills for you. Vyapar has role-based staff logins; EstimateBill is one person on one phone.
- You need e-way bills or e-invoices. Vyapar generates both (e-way bills are capped at 10 a month on its cheaper desktop + mobile plan); EstimateBill does neither.
- You want the same books on a phone and a PC. Vyapar runs on Windows and Mac as well as mobile.
- You want accounting in the same tool: Vyapar's paid plans include profit and loss and a balance sheet, and its top desktop + mobile plan exports to Tally.
Where EstimateBill is the better choice
- No account. Vyapar asks for a mobile number and OTP before you start; EstimateBill opens straight to your first invoice.
- Nothing leaves the phone. Both work offline, but Vyapar syncs your data to its servers when you reconnect. EstimateBill never uploads anything.
- No limits to discover. EstimateBill's free version has no caps on invoices, estimates or clients. Vyapar does not publish the limits of its free plan.
- Quotes and estimates first. EstimateBill is built around quote, then convert to invoice in one tap, which suits trades and service work more than counter billing.
Which one should you use?
Pick Vyapar if you run a shop, wholesale or distribution business with stock and staff. Pick EstimateBill if you are a tradesperson, freelancer or service business who writes the quote, does the job and sends the bill, and would rather not create an account for it.

Is Vyapar free?
Vyapar advertises a lifetime free plan on mobile but does not publish its limits. Its paid mobile plans were ₹699 and ₹799 a year on 19 September 2026, and desktop + mobile plans ₹4,399 and ₹4,799 a year.
Does Vyapar work offline?
Yes. Its site says you can bill without internet and the data syncs to Vyapar's servers when you are back online. EstimateBill also works offline, but it never syncs: the data stays on the phone.
Which is better for GST?
Vyapar, today. It generates e-invoices and e-way bills and has GST reports. EstimateBill prints your GSTIN and the GST rate on every line, but the current version does not split CGST/SGST or print HSN codes. For those, use our free GST invoice format in Excel.
