Where Refrens is the better choice
- Accounting. Refrens Accounts Pro adds double-entry books, bank reconciliation, P&L and balance sheet. EstimateBill is not accounting software.
- GST depth on the higher plans: HSN/SAC, GST reports, e-invoices, e-way bills and GSTR-1 automation.
- A team: 2 users even on the free plan, up to 5 with roles and approval workflows.
- Web and phone, with invoices, CRM and payments in one account.
Where EstimateBill is the better choice
- The free version does not run out. Refrens Basic stops at 15 documents; EstimateBill has no limit.
- No account and no internet needed. Refrens is an online service with sign-up; it does not publish offline support.
- The data stays on your phone rather than on a platform you would need to export from if you left.
- Cost when you only need invoices: nothing, versus ₹5,900 a year plus GST for Refrens' first paid plan.
Which one should you use?

Is Refrens free?
Its Basic plan is free for 15 documents in total. After that a paid plan is needed; on 19 September 2026 they started at ₹5,900 a year, exclusive of GST.
Does Refrens support e-invoicing?
Yes, from the Accounts Pro plan (₹15,000 a year), which lists e-invoices, e-way bills and GSTR-1 automation.
Can EstimateBill replace accounting software?
No, and it does not try to. It makes quotes, invoices and receipts and tracks who owes you. Accounting software versus an invoice app covers when you need both.
