These terms apply to the EstimateBill mobile app, the free invoice generator on this website, and this website itself. By using any of them you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use them.
1. What EstimateBill is
EstimateBill is a tool for creating invoices, estimates and quotes and turning them into PDFs. It is not an accounting system, a tax filing service, a payment processor, or a substitute for professional advice.
2. You are responsible for what you send
You decide what goes on your invoices. You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts, the tax rates and labels you apply, the registration numbers you enter, and whether the document meets the legal requirements of your country and your client's. Tax rules differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Check your own tax authority's requirements — our templates are a starting point, not legal or tax advice, and we do not warrant that any document produced by the app will satisfy any particular regulator.
3. Your data is yours, and it is your job to back it up
The app stores your data on your device and nowhere else. That means we cannot see it — and it means we cannot recover it. If you lose your device, reset the app, or uninstall it without an export, the data is gone permanently. Export a backup regularly. We are not liable for data loss.
4. Price
EstimateBill 1.0 is free. There is no invoice limit, no cap on saved clients, no watermark on exported PDFs, no advertising and no subscription. Every feature described on our website is included at no cost.
We may introduce an optional paid tier in a future version for additional features. If we do, the invoicing described in these terms remains free, anything you already use will not move behind a paywall, and your existing data stays yours either way. Any purchase would be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and handled under their terms, not ours.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use EstimateBill to create fraudulent or misleading documents, to impersonate another business, to demand payment for goods or services you have not supplied, or for anything unlawful. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app.
6. The free browser generator
The invoice generator on this website is provided free and as-is, with no account and no saved history. It runs in your browser; we keep no copy of what you produce. It may change or be withdrawn at any time.
7. Intellectual property
The EstimateBill name, logo, app, templates and this website are ours. The invoices, estimates and content you create with them are yours, and you may use them commercially without restriction or attribution.
8. No warranty, and limits on liability
EstimateBill is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, missed payments, tax penalties, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. We may stop providing the app or any feature, though we will not remotely delete data that is on your device.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
